Registration Open For 2019 NAMM Show; New Features & Exhibits Announced

Highlights include first-ever line array/loudspeaker showcase presented at the arena with Live Sound International, reimagined NAMM U Hilton Education Center, AES@NAMM Pro Sound Symposium and more.

Registration is now open (here) for The 2019 NAMM Show in Southern California (Anaheim), January 24-27, 2019. In addition, hotel reservations are also now available (here), and it’s recommended to register as soon as possible due to high demand.

The 2019 NAMM campus will once again offer three levels and more than 7,000 brands across sound, music, and event technology products. The ACC North hall that was unveiled at last year’s show will also be back, focusing on an expanded offering of established and emerging pro audio brands from around the world.

In addition, a reimagined NAMM U Hilton Education Center will provide five floors of industry education on a wide range of topics. And as usual, there will be a bounty of live entertainment happening every night of the show on five stages across the campus.

Additional Areas Of Interest

The all-new Loudspeaker System Showcase at the arena at ACC North, hosted in partnership with Live Sound International, will present attendees with demonstrations of leading line array and loudspeaker technologies three times daily on Thursday, Friday and Saturday (Jan 24-26). Each participating manufacturer will also provide an individual demo of products each day.

Further, Lounge 88 on level 3 will host the second annual “Roomful of Pianos” concert featuring a group of pianists playing symphonic masterworks in unison, over two nights. Anyone interested in performing can find out more here.

The Boutique Guitar Showcase is a curated space that features some of the finest guitar luthiers from around the world. It provides the opportunity to check out unique guitars that can’t be found anywhere else.

The Software.NAMM exhibit on the show floor showcases the evolution of music software with the latest music apps and technology. Attendees can stop by for a quick demo and talk to the people behind the brands.

Education: What’s New

The 2019 show will feature the new Retail Innovation Summit, which includes an all-day presentation of new trends, innovations and strategies to transform a business, led by retail expert Bob Phibbs, also known as “The Retail Doctor.” With more than 30 years of experience, Phibbs has helped grow thousands of retail businesses in every major industry. AES@NAMM Pro Sound Symposium: Live & Studio will be returning for the second year to the NAMM U Hilton Education Center. Targeted at working professionals in live sound, recording and performance audio, this four-day international symposium includes a series of training academies and related technical sessions, provided by a team of industry experts.

Awards Shows

The annual Parnelli Awards show for live event professionals is returning to The NAMM Show to recognize pioneering, influential professionals and their contributions to the industry. The show will take place on Friday, January 25 in Anaheim.

The TEC Awards, honoring the best and brightest in pro audio and sound recording, will be back at the Hilton Anaheim on Saturday, January 26. Network during the show’s happy hour, enjoy dinner, star-studded entertainment and celebrate the innovations that have pushed the industry forward. Tickets are available here.
