Nashville-based One Systems has announced the restructuring of its sales department and the hiring of Doug Kittle as sales manager, Eastern USA.
“The company continues to grow which has required adding new staff and the shifting of responsibilities,” explains Doug MacCallum, president One Systems. “We are pleased to announce not only the addition of Doug Kittle, but also that Mike Torlone, our director of special projects and training, is assuming the role of sales manager, Western USA, and Garry Templin has accepted the position of director of sales, worldwide.”
Kittle has a wealth of experience gained both as a product manager and regional sales manager at AKG Acoustics and as the owner of a premium audio video integration company, which he opened in 2003. His company has received national accolades that include Best Theater Design 2014, Top 25 Integrator and four-time best dealer for a premium loudspeaker brand. Kittle’s responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, working with Eastern USA rep firms, contacting acoustical consultants, and heading up other specialty projects as needed.
“I am absolutely thrilled to join One Systems during this exciting time of growth,” adds Kittle. “The company is well positioned with terrific products and an even better staff. The speakers are superb from an audio quality perspective, and the full line provides solutions that commercial integrators everywhere seek. I am eager to do my part to advance the company as we further expand its footprint.”
The new positions were created to provide additional field focus in product familiarity, hands-on demos, as well as more face time with reps, dealers, and consultants.
“In addition to overseeing our domestic sales, Garry will take on the added responsibility of working with our international sales reps and distributors,” says MacCallum. “Gary Jones will continue to assist customers with system design and providing EASE support as our applications and technical support team member. Richard Land, who has been with us since the beginning of One Systems, will continue as our service technician.”
Behind the scenes, Jennifer Barnes is stepping up as director of finance and administration. Previously Barnes served One Systems as accounting manager. In her new role she will continue to manage accounting and take on additional responsibilities with HR, legal, and administrative staff oversight of office and outside services.
MacCallum concludes, “These are exciting times for the company. We are looking forward to where these changes will take us as we continue to grow.”
