BAE Audio To Host 1073 Mic Preamplifier Panel At AES Convention

Friday afternoon panel moderated by Kevin Becka will provide overview and history of the microphone preamp.

BAE Audio announces that it will host “The History and Overview of the 1073 Mic Preamplifier / EQ” at the 139th International AES Convention, to be held at the Javitz Center in Manhattan on October 30, 2015 at 12:15 p.m.

The tutorial, which is free to registered AES attendees on a first-come, first-served basis, will provide a brief history and technical overview of the 1073, which many consider to be the most famous premplifier ever built.

The tutorial, which will be hosted by producer/engineer Kevin Becka, will feature panelists including Warren Huart (producer, engineer), Avedis Kifedjian (owner, Avedis Audio Electronics), Mark Loughman (president of BAE Audio) and Sammy Merendino (drummer, producer).
