New Waveform Pro 13 introduces a clip launcher workflow.

Tracktion has announced the release of Waveform Pro 13, an update that introduces a clip launcher workflow, a Wavetable synth, a refined user interface and exclusive audio content from Mode Audio.

With Waveform 13 also comes the release of the Clip Launcher Feature Expansion, adding to the DJ Mix Tools, Pro Video, Recording Engineer, MIDI Producer and Synth Pack offerings. These expansions essentially allow Waveform Free users to build their own DAW.

With the new clip launcher, sequence actions can be used to build complex arrangements algorithmically and the probability of each can be adjusted for human-like variation or unpredictable sequences. Performances and “happy accidents” can be captured with Performance Recording, and range of launchpad style controllers are supported with zero configuration required.
The new Wavetable synth offers two wavetable oscillators, plus a sub and noise oscillator. There are 150 wavetables included, plus users can create their own by dragging and dropping a .wav file onto an oscillator. Serum format wavetables are also supported.

The look and feel of Waveform 13 has been refined with a fresh palette of colors, a selection of new schemes to choose from, plus the option of creating and saving custom schemes. To get users up and running with the clip launcher, Waveform 13 ships with new content from Mode Audio, including exclusive content created just for Waveform users.

Waveform Pro 13 retails for $199 (full price). Go here to purchase or try the fully functional 30-day demo.
