RCF has announced the reworked NX 10-A loudspeaker platform, developing a new 10-inch transducer, amplifier technology and cabinet shape, with the company’s proprietary FiRPHASE processing also included.
The new NX 10-A II loudspeaker is powered by an onboard 2-way, 1,400-watt class-D amplifier with an aluminium structure designed to enhance stability and assist with heat dissipation. The companion DSP has limiters and protection as well as FiRPHASE filtering intended to boost coherent distribution without phase distortion.
The loudspeaker’s 10-inch woofer has a 2.5-inch voice coil, joined by a 1.75-inch compression driver with a 1-inch voice coil assembly. The cabinet includes multiple rigging points.
