LAVOCE Italiana announced that it is presenting the new BF10.10LA, the company’s first entry into the compression tweeter category, at the 2022 NAMM show at the Anaheim Convention Center (booth 17810). Including a compact integral horn, the BF10.10LA is a ferrite magnet compression tweeter designed for adding enhanced high-frequency performance to multi-way sound system designs using one or multiple devices, or as the high-frequency section of a bass guitar cabinet or combo.
It employs a one-piece aluminum diaphragm and surround with a 1-inch copper-clad aluminium voice coil on a Kapton former, and has a stated 20-watt AES power rating, 106 dB sensitivity and a frequency range of 2500 to 18000 Hz with a 5000 Hz recommended crossover point.
As with all LAVOCE next-generation high-frequency devices, the BF10.10LA has been designed and optimized by the R&D team using their own proprietary FEA software applications that’s designed to help produce an accurate device with low distortion and a linear frequency response in delivering consistent performance.
