Sound Radix has announced Auto-Align Post 2, an upgrade to its Emmy Award-winning plugin designed to help deliver quality dialogue in film and television sound applications.
By enabling dynamic time-alignment correction of moving location microphones, Auto-Align Post is designed to make it possible to effectively mix the boom and lav microphones by eliminating comb-filtering and phase artifacts caused by the time-of-arrival differences.
New Auto-Align Post 2 takes a step further by introducing a new Spectral Phase Correction module that’s designed to detect and dynamically correct frequency-dependent phase shifts to achieve improved spectral alignment and richer sound. The upgrade also offers an improved user interface and algorithms as well as adding ARA2 support for compatible DAWs such as Nuendo, Studio One, and more.
