Signal To Noise, Episode 46: Mix Engineers Chris Mitchell & Chris Rabold

Signal To Noise Podcast

In Episode 46, the hosts have a lot of fun talking with noted mix engineers Chris Rabold and Chris Mitchell at the same time. Both have been guests previously, with Chris Rabold in Episode 40 mentioning that he wanted to have a conversation with Chris Mitchell (who was the guest in Episode 35) — and so it is done.

Specifically, Chris Rabold wanted to dig into Chris Mitchell’s approach to mixing — Rabold can relate well to Mitchell’s world of working with Umphrey’s McGee because he spent 11 years in the jam band world with Widespread Panic. The two also talk about their approach to monitoring SPL at shows and much more.
