Ryan O John returns to the show in Episode 181 to talk about his experience this past Halloween weekend in mixing two Danny Elfman shows at the Hollywood Bowl, which he characterizes as “Probably the most complicated and intense show I’ve ever been a part of, just shy of 170 inputs, almost every genre, and two hours of non-stop amazingness.” He and the hosts also discuss balancing work with a manufacturer while still doing freelance gigs as well as the positives and negatives that come along with it. (Ryan is currently a senior product manager with Universal Audio.) This episode is sponsored by Audix, Allen & Heath and RCF.
