At the recent 2023 NAMM Show at the Anaheim Convention Center, No Nuts Percussion showcased numerous mounting products for drummers, including the No Nuts Cymbal Sleeve, CymRing and SizzleNet that are designed to provide easier cymbal handling and upgraded performance.
Engineered to work with all cymbals and stands, the Cymbal Sleeve comes in seven colors and squeeze fits onto 6mm/8mm stands. The unrestricted cymbal rests on the sleeve for easier setup and teardown.
The sleeve length is designed to prevent dismounting of the cymbal no matter how hard it’s played. The tough-flex sleeve material is stated to last for years and prevent key-holing of cymbals as well, while the vertical taper of the sleeve allows adapting cymbal hole size and helps control resonance/movement.
Meanwhile, the CymRing has been designed to compression fit tightly onto the sleeve, able to be placed under, over or in between cymbals for more exact positioning. CymRings are also designed to provide drummers with cymbal resonance and movement control along the tapered sleeve as well numerous cymbal stacking configurations. They also work with hi-hat clutches as well.
Finally, SizzleNut takes advantage of company’s open-ended sleeve design, designed to be the easiest and fastest riveted cymbal substitute to put into action. Simply place it over the sleeve with one hand and adjust length by twisting to desired sizzle, or split the chain and double the sizzle.
