NEXT-proaudio has announced the introduction of the M804DSP, a new class D four-channel power amplifier with DSP that’s capable of driving both conventional low-impedance (2 to 16 ohms) loudspeakers and high-impedance (70/100-volt) transformer-coupled loudspeakers as well as any mix of the two.

Stated to deliver power output 750 watts per channel, the M804DSP incorporates active PFC (Power Factor Correction) power supply technology to enable universal AC mains operation and delivers consistent, regulated power worldwide. The amplifier can be accessed anywhere through Wi-Fi via a built-in Wireless-Access-Point (WAP) or through Ethernet for simpler connection in configurating, controlling and powering loudspeakers.

Its web-based interface is designed to be easy to use in facilitating remote control of all DSP functions as well as monitoring of all amplifier vital functions from any PC, tablet, or smartphone, regardless of operating system. There’s no software to install; it’s built into the M804DSP).

The integrated web interface controls signal processing engine to further extend functionality. The matrix DSP can be configured to suit a wide range of tasks without the need for additional equipment.
