Yorkville Sound has announced the introduction of the new EXM Mobile Sub, a portable lithium-ion-battery-powered bass-reflex subwoofer with Bluetooth technology.
Equipped with two 8-inch woofers, the EXM Mobile Sub has a stated weight of 30 pounds and is designed to be carried in one hand. It’s compatible with all products in the company’s EXM Mobile series including the EXM Mobile, EXM Mobile 12 and the newly announced EXM Mobile 8.
Jeff Cowling, Yorkville Sound Vice President of Sales & Marketing. notes, “Since the concept of mobile, battery powered PAs was introduced, Yorkville was among the first out of the gate and the strongest to innovate the technology.”
Yorkville announced the EXM Mobile 8 in early December, a three-way mobile battery powered loudspeaker with an 8-inch woofer. “With the EXM Mobile Sub, we are introducing a concept that has never been done and is much needed in the world of live music today,” Cowling adds.
