At the recent 2024 ISE Show in Barcelona, Equipson brand WORK PRO unveiled Aulum, a new series of loudspeakers that are designed for outdoor applications such as gardens and terraces.
The Aulum Series includes two acoustic enclosures, the AL 1003 F and AL 503 M. Both are cylindrical in shape and offer 360-degree horizontal and 120-degree vertical sound dispersion, with a stated frequency response of 90 Hz to18 kHz.
The AL 1003 F is designed for ground installation in flowerbeds, on patios and more. Made from aluminum and with an IP65 protection rating, it can withstand rain and spray from garden hoses. It has a 2.5-inch woofer and can work in low-impedance installations with power handling of 10 watts at 8 ohms as well as high-impedance situations where it offers 10 watts to 70/100-volt lines.
The AL 503 M is intended for landscaped areas where a wall-mounted enclosure is more suitable. Also carrying an IP65 protection rating, it too has a 2.5-inch woofer and offers the same power handing capabilities as the AL 1003 F.
Both enclosures are equipped with white 6-watt LED lights with a color temperature of 3000 K, powered by 12-volt DC, to illuminate and add ambience to specific areas of an installation.
