Wharfedale Pro has announced that it will be launching the new WLA-210XP line array as well as T-Sub active subwoofers at the upcoming 2024 ISE Show in Barcelona that begins in late January.
The centerpiece of the booth (B100 in Hall 7), which the company is sharing with Kinson, its distributor in Spain, will be a flown WLA-210XP system. It’s a dual 10-inch passive array that incorporates the Wharfedale Pro EVO-Fold waveguide and custom phase plugs designed to deliver a consistent off-axis frequency response.
The T-SUB-AX18B is the latest addition to its T-SUB family of active subwoofers. “The T-SUB-AX18B has been designed to work perfectly with active tops such as our Tourus, Titan and Typhon series,” explains Alex Lane, applications & solutions manager at Wharfedale Pro.
In addition, a key focus for the company across the past 12 months has been its new DP amplifier series. At ISE, the team will be highlighting the recently updated DP-F, DP-N and DP-4035i multi-channel amplifiers at their dedicated on-booth Amplifier Zone, alongside the new SC-26X Versadrive loudspeaker management system.
Off booth, live demos of the WLA-1 hybrid curvature array will be taking place in the dedicated outdoor demonstration areas OSC3 and OSC4. “The full-range WLA-112 and WLA-115 elements use a coaxial design in combination with the exclusive EVO-Fold high-frequency waveguide,” explains Lane. “This provides consistent dispersion coverage on both the horizontal and vertical planes with the sound radiating from one, singular and coherent, source. We’re excited for ISE visitors to enjoy some fresh air and listen to the performance of our WLA-1 system in a real-world environment!”
