Waves Audio has announced a new version of the eMotion LV1 live mixer, with updates that include compatibility with the new MixMirror app that provides full iOS tablet remote control for both the mixer as well as SuperRack; the company has also introduced the new SuperRack LiveBox for running VST3 plugins from any manufacturer.
The eMotion LV1 mixer update also incorporates several other new features: extended gain mapping options for Waves’ FIT Controller for eMotion LV1 and Waves MyFOH apps; a new mix bus input fader mode; updated menus for improved touch usability and various bug fixes across all applications.
With MixMirror (iPad and Windows only), front of house engineers can now control plugins from any location within a venue. The remote application mirrors and optimizes the mixer window from either the eMotion LV1 or SuperRack (compatible with both SoundGrid and Performer) onto the tablet device.

As noted, the new SuperRack LiveBox runs VST3 plugins by any brand from a single 2RU box that includes Dante/MADI connectivity options as well as the SuperRack Performer audio plugin. It’s combination of hardware and software is optimized to run plugins efficiently and reliably.
