Sonarworks Announces SoundID Reference 5.1.0 Update

Includes Merging Technologies integration, additional target curves and introduces new supported headphone profiles.

Sonarworks has announced the 5.1.0 update for SoundID Reference (the next-generation version of Reference 4) that’s designed to allow users to export presets to MERGING+ANUBIS as part of the newly announced Sonarworks partnership with Merging Technologies.

The partnership allows creators to access the SoundID Reference correction software directly in Anubis without the use of a computer. In addition, the SoundID Reference 5.1.0 update has fixed more 35 bugs and improved audio driver logic and stability, and it has also added the X-Curve and B&K 1974 predefined target curves, two of the most requested target curves by users.
