Fellow taco lover and mix engineer Lorin White joins the show in Episode 199. He’s currently on tour as the monitor engineer for Lionel Richie, and over the past few years has worked with artists that include TLC, Mariah Carey, and more. Lorin talks about working as the house monitor engineer for major awards shows like the Latin GRAMMYS and Latin Billboard Awards, and offers advice to up-and-coming engineers who are walking into awards shows for the first time. He also discusses his roots in the San Francisco music scene and how that led to a successful touring career, and much more. This episode is sponsored by Allen & Heath and RCF.

*Disclaimer the audio on this episode is a little rougher than usual — due to multiple scheduling conflicts, we took the opportunity that we had to get this episode recorded. The background environment on Lorin’s end was less than ideal but it was definitely worth having this conversation regardless.
