Shure has announced the launch of Microflex Wireless neXt 2 (MXW neXt 2), a two-channel wireless system designed for diverse spaces and hybrid environments, and it will be on display at the upcoming 2024 ISE Show in Spain at the Fira Barcelona Gran Via in booth 3N300 in hall 3.

MXW neXt 2 will help address their current challenges by simplifying workflows and affordably delivering exceptional Microflex audio performance, all in a user-friendly and convenient form factor.”
Microflex Wireless neXt 2 is equipped with a combination of DSP capabilities and I/O connections that include USB, Dante, and analog. It also delivers a new microphone design with upgraded security, an increased dynamic range ans stated longer battery life of up to 28 hours.
MXW neXt 2 has an “all-in-one” base unit that combines an APT/charger and onboard DSP. It can be network-installed or used as a stand-alone system. A choice of three different redesigned wireless microphone form factors are offered, each with an added LCD matrix display for monitoring remaining battery life and connection quality. The MXW1X bodypack, MXW2X handheld and MXW6X boundary can be pre-configured to handle multiple applications and can all be charged in the same base.
The new system includes proprietary Shure Audio Encryptio, based on the AES-256 algorithm that offers protected audio signal. The AES-256 encryption algorithm uses a user-configured passphrase, security that’s designed to ensure audio content is protected among all Microflex devices in a room.
