Sennheiser Names Guitar Center Dealer Of The Year In The Music Industry

Sennheiser made a generous donation to the Fender Music Foundation in the name of Guitar Center to show their appreciation.

The U.S. subsidiary of headphone and microphone manufacturer Sennheiser named Guitar Center, Inc. its 2010 dealer of the year for excellent sales, customer support and comprehension of Sennheiser’s diverse line of microphones, wireless systems and headphones.

To express its thanks, Sennheiser made a generous donation to the Fender Music Foundation in the name of Guitar Center.

The donation supports funding and resources for musical education programs across the country.

“We are pleased to announce Guitar Center as Dealer of the Year for our Music Retail division,” said Bill Whearty, Sennheiser Electronic Corporation’s vice president of retail sales.

“Guitar Center has generated more revenue for us than any other musical instrument retailer, increasing sales by 27 percent year over year—this is an impressive statistic, but not surprising given their incredible dedication and focus on customers.”

“We appreciate being recognized as Sennheiser’s MI Dealer of the Year,” commented Bill Wrightson, vice president of technology merchandise for Guitar Center.

“We strive to bring our customers the best products and service, and are very pleased to be having great success with Sennheiser—a company that is synonymous with outstanding customer support.”
