RCF Introduces New Bass Reflex Subwoofers

RCF has announced 3 new Bass Reflex subwoofers – the S8015 II, the S8018 II and the S8028 II. The new subwoofers are designed primarily for installed sound applications where quality audio and attention to detail are of extreme importance.

The S8015 II is a compact, high-output, bass reflex subwoofer equipped with an advanced, hypervented 15-inch RCF precision woofer. It features a large ceramic magnet and a high excursion 4-inch copper voice coil to ensure tight and maximized output.

Able to produce a max SPL of 133 dB, the S8015 II can easily handles 1000 Watts AES. Twist and lock Speakon connectors are provided for safety and functionality. The cabinet is constructed of multi-ply Baltic birch plywood, finished with a very resistant, textured, polyurethane black paint. It features a M20 pole-mount receptacle, rubber feet, and two recessed handles. The front steel grill is epoxy coated.

The S8018 II is the ideal low-frequency extension to complement RCF installed systems. The low-frequency transducer is a hypervented, high excursion RCF precision 18-inch woofer with a 4-inch inside/outside voice coil. It is designed to minimize power compression and to extend the life of the product.

Using bass-reflex loading, the subwoofer design ensures an efficient acoustic response down to 30 Hz. The Baltic birch plywood enclosure is painted with black, heavy duty, texture epoxy. The front is protected by a strong, powder coated metal grill. The woofer cone has been treated with a water resistant resin for additional protection. A M20 pole mount adapter is provided on the top of the cabinet, integrated hand carry points are on the cabinet sides.

The S8028 II is a high-output, high power, bass reflex subwoofer. The box is loaded with two advanced, hypervented 18-inch RCF precision woofers mounted in a bass reflex configuration. The cabinet design is optimized to achieve tight and maximized output.

Each 18-inch woofer features state of the art RCF precision transducers technology included a vented magnet and a 4-inch copper voice coil. The subwoofer can provide a 141 dB max SPL and handles 3000 watts AES. The cabinet features two Neutrik Speakon connectors in a recessed input plate. It comes equipped with a M20 pole mount adaptor on the top of the cabinet.
