Outline has announced the introduction of the latest member of its Vegas loudspeaker line, the new Vegas 4 multi-purpose miniature loudspeaker for both portable and fixed applications.
Vegas 4 incorporates a proprietary single-driver design, employing a newly developed 4-inch transducer created specifically for the product. The enclosure measures 4.7 x 4.7 x 5 inches (12 cm x 12 cm x 12.6 cm, HxWxD) and weighs 3.5 pounds (1.6 kg), and can be combined with Outline’s SUB 110 compact subwoofer to provide full-range audio from a small footprint.
Vegas 4 can be driven by Outline’s new L3000 DSP-equipped power amplifier, which, for example, is stated to power and process up to 16 Vegas 4s or eight Vegas 4s and two SUB 110s. Alternatively, any of the company’s other amplifiers can be utilized, as well as the iP24 processor.
Vegas 4 is supplied with a specially-designed bracket that allows mounting on a range of surfaces along with regular microphone stands. The enclosure is manufactured to a IP55 protection rating for use in extremes of heat, cold and humidity. And, it’s available in black, white or any one of over 200 RAL colors.
