NEXT Audiogroup has announced the debut of the LAm114xA PLUS, a new edition of the LAm114xA stage monitor that’s outfitted with an advanced DSP and amplifier module, and with Ethernet control via the company’s X-NET software.
The new LAm114xA PLUS incorporates a 14-inch custom coaxial driver from B&C Speakers joined by a 3-inch (voice coil) neodymium compression driver. They’re driven by a class D power amplifier module stated as delivering up to 1,650 watts (1,150 LF and 500 HF). An integrated universal mains power supply with PFC is designed to foster consistency and optimum performance.
The 96-kHz/40-bit SHARC DSP engine, monitored by built-in LCD screen with a preset loading encoder, and as previously noted, it can be remotely controlled via X-NET software. X-NET is designed to automatically identify each device and allow simultaneous control of multiple devices through grouping facility.
