JBL is offering a mail-in rebate program for its LSR2300 Series studio monitors through March 31, 2011.
The program allows customers to take advantage of the LSR2300 Series monitors and the benefits of JBL’s versatile MSC1 Monitor System Controller.
Purchasers of either a pair of JBL LSR2328P studio monitors, or a pair of LSR2325P studio monitors with an LSR2310SP subwoofer, qualify to receive a JBL MSC1 Monitor System Controller free of charge—a $375.00 value.
The MSC1 controller allows music and post audio rooms to monitor a range of input sources, using two sets of speakers and a subwoofer.
JBL’s RMC Room Mode Correction technology in the MSC1 tunes speakers for maximum accuracy in any room.
“While the MSC1 works with any speakers, the hot setup is the MSC1 connected to a pair of JBL LSR2300 Series studio monitors and subwoofer,” said Peter Chaikin, Director of Marketing, Recording & Broadcast, JBL Professional.

In a compact desktop form factor, the MSC1 Monitor System Controller provides features found in the monitor section of professional mixing consoles including input source selectors, a large volume control, and the ability to listen to two sets of speakers plus a connected subwoofer.
MSC1’s RMC Room Mode Correction system tunes speakers to compensate for low frequency room problems, allowing better mixes even in problematic rooms.
The MSC1 includes a calibration microphone and Control Center Software for Macintosh and Windows computers, which allows fine adjustment of speaker EQ, subwoofer balance and manages the RMC calibration process.
