CODA Audio (booth 7-C230) has launched N-RAY, a new compact three-way line array system with variable horizontal dispersion, at this year’s ISE 2030 show in Amsterdam.
Array modules are equipped with a unique 6-inch double diaphragm planar wave driver (DDP), dual 6.5-inch neodymium low-frequency cone drivers, proprietary N-RAY insta-fit magnetic coupler and the company’s Dynamic Airflow Cooling (DAC) technology, all designed to supply high sound pressure levels with low power compression.
Offering a phase linearity similar to the company’s AiRAY system. stated frequency response is 60 Hz to 22 kHz (-6 dB) frequency range and power handling is 1,000 watts. N-RAY has a variable horizontal coverage of 90, 120 or asymmetric 105 degrees and variable vertical curving of 0 to 12 degrees in 1-degree steps. It’s driven by CODA LINUS loudspeaker management amplifiers.
An integrated 3-point rigging system supports flown or ground stacked arrays, compatible to SCN-F 15-inch sensor-controlled low-frequency extension. A hybrid multiplex/aluminium enclosure with Polyurea coating is designed to afford durability and water protection.
