AKG Showcasing New Perception Live Series Microphones At Upcoming AES

The new AKG Perception Live Series microphones – for live applications as the name states – includes various vocal and instrument microphones and will be on display the upcoming AES Convention in New York City.

The P3 and P5 vocal microphones offer cardioid and super-cardiod characteristics, respectively, while the P4 is an instrument mic designed for optimal use with drums, amps, and wind instruments. The P2 rounds out the series, offering an integrated hum bucking coil for an effective elimination of interfering noises.

“The new Perception Live series is the most comprehensive and well rounded microphone line released by AKG to date,” said Thomas Umbauer Product Manager AKG Acoustics. “Whether they are being used for live sound performances or in the studio for broadcasting, they are perfectly suited to improve sound quality in any situation.”

For on stage performances, the Perception Live microphones feature a rugged metal casing, a rugged spring steel microphone grill, an appealing and scratch resistant finish, high maximum SPL and powerful sound.

AKG will be exhibiting at booth 226 at the AES Convention, which kicks off this Friday at the Javits Center in New York City this Friday (October 9).
