Worxaudio Technologies Anounces TrueLine V5 Ultra-Compact Line Array

The new compact form factor is designed to appeal to those seeking application versatility.

WorxAudio Technologies has announced the introduction of the new TrueLine V5 Ultra-Compact Line Array.

This high performance loudspeaker system is an ideal choice for both speech and music reproduction and, with its compact form factor, it is an ideal setup for use in fixed installations, as a portable loudspeaker system for corporate A/V, and front fill applications.

Like all loudspeakers systems in the WorxAudio TrueLine Series, the transducer complement in the V5 is top notch.

This loudspeaker incorporates a medium format 1-inch exit compression driver coupled to a stabilized, proprietary FlatWave Former (wave shaping device) that delivers clear, penetrating high frequencies over a predictable and controlled coverage area.

Dual 5-inch cone transducers coupled to the Acoustic Intergrading Module (A.I.M.) minimize cone filtering throughout the entire operating range. Collectively, the system delivers a rich, fully balanced sound.

Of particular note, the new WorxAudio V5 has a 120-degree symmetrical horizontal coverage pattern and a 10-degree vertical dispersion pattern arrayable in 1-degree increments.

This arrangement facilitates consistent sound quality both on- and off-axis—resulting in dramatically improved speech intelligibility and music reproduction throughout the entire space.

The V5 is a 16-ohm passive loudspeaker system that provides tremendous flexibility in terms of assembling multiple box setups all driven by a common amplifier.

This feature reduces the number of amplifiers necessary to power the system and, hence, the cost of power the amplifiers. It also minimizes the issues of where to house those power amplifiers.

Built to withstand the demanding applications, the V5’s enclosure is constructed from sturdy multi-ply Baltic Birch and is heavily braced for cabinet rigidity, yet weighs only thirty pounds. Protecting the enclosure is a multi-layered, polyurea finish that is available in black or white.

A 16-guage, perforated, cloth-backed, powder coated steel grill with a high transmission ratio protects the transducer complement. Similarly, the V5’s custom designed, black anodized, 6061-T6 aircraft aluminum TrueAim rigging hardware with 1-degree increments enables the user to easily array the system to the desired coverage area in flown or ground stack mode.

The flexibility of WorxAudio’s hardware is of particular note with the new TrueLine V5.

For fixed installations, the TrueAim Grid has a 10:1 weight management rating, resulting in the ability to fly as many as twenty four elements with 1-degree pin increments for precise positioning—enabling system designers to assemble a potent sound system with minimal line of sight issues compared to many other loudspeaker setups.

For corporate A/V and other special events, the TrueAim Grid can support three V5 elements atop the grid and can be pole mounted for a highly portable “speaker on a stick” sound system. An optionally available pole mount system is available from WorxAudio Technologies.

And for greater flexibility, the new V5 makes a first-rate front fill loudspeaker that easily addresses those hard-to-reach center areas between the main left-right loudspeaker clusters.

“The new V5 combines the finest loudspeaker components with superior workmanship to create a tremendously versatile, remarkably compact loudspeaker system that is truly capable of addressing a myriad of diverse sound reinforcement applications from permanent installations to portable PA to front fill applications,” said Hugh Sarvis, WorxAudio Technologies’ CEO and Director of Engineering.

“The inclusion of EASE Focus 2 array software with full GLL balloons further completes the package. I am extremely confident the V5 has the feature set today’s most demanding audio professionals require.”
