Ultimate Ears by Logitech, has released the 18 Pro custom monitors, which feature six individually-tuned speakers per ear.
The 18 Pro features passive crossover technology and patent-pending triple and concentric sound channels that keep the low, mid and high frequencies separate and balanced until they blend naturally in the ear – not inside the monitor – so the sound stays pure.
18 Pro monitors are handcrafted and come in a protective anodized aluminum roadie box. They are compatible with any device that supports a standard 18-inch (3.5 mm) headphone jack.
Frequency response is 20 Hz to 18 kHz, with an input sensitivity of 110.6 dB at 1 kHz. The 18 Pro’s impedance is 21 ohms at 1 kHz, with a noise isolation of -26 dB. Weight 1 ounce, and the cable is 48 inches in length, with the option for a 64-inch version.
