The Farm has announced the promotion of Steve Kawasaki to director of vendor relations, where he is leading and managing strategic initiatives that include the development of manufacturer-specific programs and systems to support the growth of the company’s manufacturer partners.
“Steve has industry experience with literally every link in the supply chain,” says The Farm president and CEO John Hood. “He’s well-acquainted with the challenges, from the integration channel to the manufacturer, making him the perfect fit for this position.”

In addition to playing a key liaison role between vendor products and customer needs, Kawasaki will also coordinate business development efforts as well as create professional and strategic vendor networking opportunities designed to expand the reach of The Farm’s sales and services teams.
