TELEFUNKEN Elektroakustik has expanded its Stage Series line of microphone cables. Alongside the popular microphone line, the new cables are being introduced March 17, 18, and 19 at the SXSW Gear Expo, Austin Convention Center, Exhibit Hall 4, Level 1.
Open to all registrants, showcasing artists and the general public, the Expo has become the key destination for musicians, buyers, gear and tech aficionados at SXSW.
Three new cable lengths are now available, including 1m, 2m and 5m cables: SGMC-1, SGMC-2 and SGMC-5. These cables join the previous three cables from the series: SMGC-5R, SGMC-10 and SGMC-10R.
TELEFUNKEN Elektroakustik’s Stage Series microphone cable has been specially engineered for use on live sound stages, as well as in recording studios. Featuring cable made from 100% Copper wire, Stage Series cable is ideal for lower profile applications around the drum set and percussion rig, as well as on vocals and instruments.
TELEFUNKEN cables are offered in non-standard lengths including the extra lengthy 10 meter (33.3 feet) SGMC-10 and SGMC-10R which is offered with a right angle XLR, making it ideal for drum set and percussion application with a tight space allowance for a microphone.
