RME Showcases New Fireface UFX At AES

The Fireface UFX is an interface designed for ultra-low latency operation with both USB and FireWire.

At the 129th AES Convention RME showcased their new flagship audio interface, the Fireface UFX.

Featuring 60 channels of audio, the UFX includes digitally controlled high-end preamps, reference class converters and full 192 kHz operation.

The UFX is designed with for ultra-low latency operation with USB and FireWire, combined with the legendary RME driver stability and maintenance.

This includes active jitter suppression, professional reference level support, advanced stand-alone functionality, RME’s DIGICheck metering and analysis toolbox, and nearly identical operation and features on Windows PC and Mac.

Additionally, the UFX also includes TotalMix FX, the new digital high-end mixer and signal router, driven by two DSP, with integrated EQ, Dynamics and Reverb/Echo effects up to 192 kHz plus a built-in monitoring control.
