R/T Pro Audio Invests In VUE Audiotechnik For Third Eye Blind

New al-8 and al-4 arrays with hs-221 dual 21-inch ACM Infrasonic subwoofers added to inventory for 31-city “Summer of the Gods” tour.

PA’s R/T Pro Audio has become VUE Audiotechnik‘s newest rental partner, kicking off the Third Eye Blind US Tour with the delivery of al-8 and al-4 Acoustic Linearity line array elements and hs-221 dual 21-inch ACM Infrasonic subwoofers.

Starting with a sold-out show in Providence, RI on October 5, VUE and Pittsburgh-based RT Pro Audio is providing audio services for Third Eye Blind’s 31-city “Summer of the Gods” tour.

“The VUE line arrays give us ultimate scalability to move quickly from venue to venue while delivering unprecedented sonic character and a consistent voice regardless of configuration. It’s the perfect system for this tour, where every night brings a different room with a whole new set of challenges,” explains Rob Thomas front of house engineer and RT Pro Audio owner.

VUE VP operations Sara Elliott was in Providence for the first show of the tour and the VUE team will be at a number of the shows during the tour.

VUE’s VP North American sales, Jeff Taylor will at the October 18th show at The Stage AE in R/T’s hometown of Pittsburgh, PA.
