Proel Announces SW Series Subwoofers

The new product will launch NAMM 2011.

Proel will launch the SW Series subwoofers at NAMM 2011. The SW Series is a range of subwoofers designed by Proel to complement full-range speakers, including the NET and FLASH Series.

The SW Series includes two new models and an update to the existing FLASH15S, which has been renovated and renamed.

Due to the variety of size, power and SPL, the SW subwoofers can offer the perfect low extension solution for any full-range speaker.

All the SW models feature large voice coil (VC) woofers and a band-pass design, providing very ‘punchy’ and dynamic lows together with an extended low frequency response.

The class H and class D amplifier modules can generate up to 1000W of continuous power in a compact and reliable package.

In details, the SW118H and SW115H models combine advanced technical characteristics with, respectively, state-of-the-art 18” and 15” Celestion neodymium speakers, plus powerful 1000W and 500W class D amplifiers and the SW115 model has 15” speaker with 350W class H amplifier.

All the models include a stereo preamp section, 24dB/oct. crossover filters with selectable frequency and phase reverse switch.

The cabinets are built with 15/18mm plywood and feature 2 or 3 metal handles and sturdy 75mm wheels for an easy transport.
