Pro Intercom has announced its first wireless intercom system for the professional market.

Pro Intercom, acquired by Wheeling, IL-based McCormick Group in 2021, has announced the release of its first dedicated wireless production intercom system for the professional market for applications that include theatres, houses of worship, live venues and more.

The new system, operating in the 1.9 GHz spectrum, has a peer-to-peer design structure, and is designed to enable creation of a full-duplex communication network for up to four users without the need for a dedicated base station and up to nine users with an optional expansion hub. In addition, the hub allows for connectivity to wired Pro Intercom systems, enabling customers with existing installations to use a combination of wired and wireless equipment.

“We are excited to finally be able to offer a wireless system that provides the same high standard of quality our customers have come to expect,” says Alan Yefsky, president and CEO of McCormick’s Group.

Headsets are available in single- and dual-ear models and include a boom microphone with an automatic mute switch, and they don’t require a beltpack. Batteries are stated to last up to 10 hours. Rugged, foam-lined storage cases are available.

Headsets start at a U.S. MSRP of $449.99, and all products are in stock now and available for shipment.
