One Systems is premiering marine-grade versions of its small-format speakers at InfoComm 2013 in booth #329.
All One Systems speakers are designed and built for installation in any environment and each model features full weatherproofing using stainless steel grilles and hardware as standard features. There are some applications, such as for cruise ships and oceanfront installations that need the higher level of corrosion resistance that 316-marine stainless steel provides to insure long useful life.
The 103IM-W/Marine is a two-way system featuring a 3.5-inch woofer with a 1.25-inch (31.75 mm) voice coil and a high-efficiency horn-loaded tweeter with a 90o x 40o waveguide. The 103IM’s power handling is 50 watts continuous, 200 watts peak.
The 106IM-W/Marine features a 6-inch woofer with a large 1.75-inch (44.45 mm) voice coil and a 1-inch compression driver coupled to a 90º x 40º horn. The 106IM-W/Marine provides 100 watts continuous, 400 watts peak power handling.
All One Systems Marine models feature white enclosures that are injection molded using a proprietary weather-resistant resin that’s extremely resistant to fading or discoloration. Their “rain shield” 3-stage 316-grade stainless steel grilles are also finished in white. The 103IM-W/Marine and 106IM-W/Marine include white 316-marine stainless steel U-Brackets, making them ready to install for many applications. Both models are weather-rated at IP 56 ensuring they can easily handle wind-blown rain and water.
One Systems also offers optional Pan / Tilt and Pole Mount Brackets to enhance their flexibility for specialized applications. Thanks to their powerful components, neither of these systems requires the transient-squashing passive protection devices found on most small speaker systems, which enables them to maintain a more even sound quality at any listening level.
