MXL Showcases New Drum Cube Microphone At 2010 Winter NAMM Show

MXL Microphones, the professional audio division of Marshall Electronics, showcased the new Drum Cube microphone at the 2010 Winter NAMM show.

The unconventional-looking Cube condenser mic offers big, full-bodied sound that’s powerfully detailed.

Designed with a gold sputtered, 6-micron diaphragm, it delivers professional sound, while a high SPL rating delivers on loud drums.

“We’re really excited about the sound quality and price point of this mic,” notes Jim Mona, MXL National Sales Manager. “We tested the Drum Cube on a lot of drummers and every one of them said the Drum Cube is absolutely killer, especially on toms.”

The MXL Cube is built tough with durable metal construction and includes a hard mount mic stand adapter. The MXL Cube is now shipping with a U.S. MSRP of $149.95.
