For its first act of business with SSL, Morris Light & Sound has agreed to supply an SSL Live L500 for Kenny Chesney’s upcoming The Big Revival Tour, which kicks off on March 26.
The company has also deepened its relationship with SSL with its ongoing expansion into the Nashville studio business with the acquisition and refurbishment of one top studio The Tracking Room (equipped with a magnificent vintage SSL J Series console).
“Morris is honored to be part of SSL’s Live Console partner network,” says David Haskell, president and CEO of Morris Light & Sound. “The SSL Live has garnered significant attention in the industry since its launch and we look forward to being able to share all of its great features with our clients. We know it will be a top choice for many of the productions that we service.”
“We’re very excited to add Morris Light & Sound to the roster of Live Console partners,” adds Piers Plaskitt, CEO of SSL. “The company’s long history of providing the very highest quality support for high profile concerts and installations across North America makes them an ideal Live partner company for SSL. The commitment to using the L500 for such a high-profile tour is a superb start and we look forward to a long and successful relationship. It’s also great to see such a historic Nashville studio with a secure future in good hands.”
