Maag Audio has announced the introduction of the PREQ4 Microphone Preamplifier with AIR BAND (shelf boost from 2.5 to 40kHz) in a 500 Series one channel compatible configuration.
Compatible with the API 500-6B lunchbox and 500VPR rack systems.
The PreQ4 offers 65dB adjustable gain, phase reverse capability, 70Hz high pass filter, +48V phantom power, and -20dB PAD.
As one of the newest members of the VPR Alliance, the PREQ4 will be available March 1st.
The PREQ4 follows its predecessor, PreQ3, as much as possible; using higher quality components.
The AIR BAND helps give the PREQ4 a full and transparent top end presence while maintaining the true natural sound behind the microphone.
