Fluid Audio has announced the release of the new AXIS studio condenser microphone that’s outfitted with a gold-sputtered 34 mm diaphragm and ships with a shock mount, pop filter, five-meter high-grade mic cable, and reinforced hard shell case.
Offering a cardioid polar pattern, AXIS is stated to have high sensitivity and low noise and to be able to withstand high sound pressure levels in recording loud sources such as drums and brass. It has a durable brass housing and a gold-plated output connector.
“We’re proud to announce the first in a growing product line of recording microphones, the AXIS studio microphone. Not only is it a fantastic sounding microphone at a killer price, it’s a fine complement to our SRI-2 interface and monitor line-up,” says Fluid Audio CEO and Chief Engineer Kevin Zuccaro.
