Kafe Pi Group is one of Turkey’s fastest growing organizations, having opened 14 new venues in quick succession, including two beach clubs as well as pubs and bars.
Bronx Pi Stage is one of its latest additions. Located in the Beyoğlu district in the heart of Istanbul, it features a DiGiCo SD8 digital mixing console supplied by DiGiCo Turkish distributor Elit Light/Sound Technologies.
Kafe Pi Group predominantly targets university students, hosting a variety of events from concept parties to board game tournaments. Bronx Pi, which first opened its doors in 2009, appeals to its audience’s avant-garde musical tastes, has a young, dynamic crew and stages groups from around the world such as Jay Jay Johanson, Louie Austen, Parov Stelar Band, Kosheen, Klaus Waldecek, Belleruche, Client and national musicians including Redd, Yasemin Mori, Gece, Sakin, Kaçak. It also hosts short film screenings, dance and visual performances and theatre shows.
For the Bronx Pi Stage sound system, Elit chose the DiGiCo SD8 because, they say, “it shows great efficiency both in performance and price and enables Bronx Pi to serve up good music six days a week, from world famous groups to amateur musicians”.
