Eighteen Sound has announced the release of the XG10 line source waveguide with a 1-inch throat entry, which was recently on display at the Prolight+Sound show in Frankfurt.
The XG10 has a transmission line acoustic design that minimizes internal reflections and acoustic loss, while the throat shape has been optimized for lowering air distortion. It delivers exceptional performance when paired with an Eighteen Sound 1-inch-exit high-frequency compression driver.
The waveguide has been optimized to provide a 10-degree vertical dispersion angle, while the horizontal coverage angle can vary from 80 to 120 degrees, depending upon the specific cabinet design.
