DWV Entertainment Announces New Production Facilities

DWV has taken the first steps toward revitalizing and integrating Aphex its new place within the corporate structure.

On the heels of their recent acquisition of Aphex, DWV Entertainment has taken the first steps toward revitalizing and integrating the audio brand into the DWV corporate structure.

The company’s DW Collection division of high-end audiophile technologies will relocate from its present location in Salt Lake City to the newly expanded DWV Entertainment headquarters in Park City, Utah.

The Park City facility will be home to DWV’s Research and Development, Product Design and Sales and Marketing staff, integrating the departments under a single roof to streamline operations. The recently acquired Aphex facilities in Los Angeles will continue to host additional engineering and operations staff, as well as handling production and shipping.

“As we prepare the introduction of several exciting new products, and integrate Aphex technologies into a wide range of new market sectors, it becomes increasingly important for us to consolidate our development and design resources to maximize the synergies between our departments,” said David Wiener, DWV’s President and Chief Executive Officer.

At the summer NAMM show in Nashville, DWV announced a licensing agreement with Dean Guitars who has introduced a line of Aphex Enhanced Dean Acoustic-Electric guitars. According to Co-Founder and COO Robin Sibucao, the Dean announcement is only the first of several new ventures currently in the works.

“We’ve just begun to scratch the surface of what’s possible with Aphex technology,” he said. “Our number one priority is to enhance people’s enjoyment of music – hence our company motto: Respect the Music.”

“We’re really excited about a number of new ventures we’ll be taking the wraps off of in the coming weeks. As we integrate the R&D and Engineering staffs of our individual companies, we’re already beginning to see an incredible synergy. This is truly just the beginning.”
