David’s prior operational experience includes serving as President and COO of Roku (2010), President and CEO of QSecure (2008-2010), and as President and CEO of Avid Technology (2000-2007). Prior to Avid, David served as VP of Engineering and as COO of Digidesign.

David brings broad experience to Audinate in the areas of new product development, integration of complex software and hardware solutions, strategy formation, and general management. David has experience working in companies ranging from small startups to public companies with thousands of employees serving worldwide marketplaces.

“I am extremely impressed how, in such a short time, Audinate has become the darling of the Pro AV industry for its digital media networking technology,” said David Krall.

“From what I can see, Audinate has the only well-conceived transition strategy to provide a complete IP networking solution today plus a migration path as standards like AVB evolve. I look forward to partnering with Audinate’s talented management team to help contribute to the success of this innovative company.”

“We are incredibly fortunate to have someone of David’s track record and knowledge in both the AV industry and consumer video markets, join our Board of Directors,” said Lee Ellison, CEO of Audinate. “David’s depth of experience in helping build companies known for innovation and growth is the ideal complement to our already talented group and Board of Directors.”

David holds Bachelor of Science and Master’s of Electrical Engineering degrees from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and a master of business administration degree, with distinction, from the Harvard Business School.
