Audinate has announced that Dante Connect audio transport for cloud-based workflows, is now shipping, and, available through distributors Advanced Systems Group (ASG) and Diversified, will be showcased with AWS (Hall 5, C90) as well as at the company’s booth (Hall 8, D88) at the upcoming IBC show in Amsterdam.
Dante Connect is designed to meet the needs of Tier-1 broadcasters and enables mixing editors and A1s to support remote audio production workflows, including the transmission of audio from any Dante-enabled device on location, through cloud services and back down for broadcast. Further, the company states that multiple customers are using Dante Connect in production with more currently executing proof-of-concept tests prior to deploying to production.

ASG and Diversified join HHB Communications as the current worldwide distributors of Dante Connect.

At IBC in Amsterdam, Dante Connect has been selected as the audio transport for the AWS broadcast production workflow demo, while the Audinate booth will offer demos of Dante Connect using the Cloud MX audio mixer from Waves, and Dante AV technology.
