Columbia College Offering Tenure-Track Faculty Position In Live Sound Reinforcement

Columbia College in Chicago, emphasizing arts, media, and communications in a liberal arts setting, has announced that it is offering a tenure-track faculty position in live sound reinforcement.

Principal duties include teaching and mentoring undergraduates in live sound reinforcement theory and practice across a range of applications and venues, along with serving on college and departmental committees, advising students, directing and supervising sound reinforcement for college events, and more.

Applicants should have an advanced (required) or terminal (preferred) degree in a field relevant to the position. Alternatively, candidates must have commensurate professional experience within the live sound reinforcement industry and be able to demonstrate broad knowledge of relevant theory and practice.
