Denmark-based Blaze Audio, a Pascal brand, has announced the expansion of its PowerZone Connect Series of DSP amplifiers with four new models, all 2RU units stated to deliver maximum audio power output ranging from 1,000 to 3,000 watts.

PowerZone Connect amplifiers are available in multiple channel and power options, with the latest models — 1002, 1502, 2004 and 3004 — designed to serve the needs of larger projects and spaces. They are stated to drive both conventional low impedance and constant voltage (70/100-volt) loudspeaker loads.

All PowerZone Connect models have software-controlled DSP, routing and straightforward configuration in zone, with parameters set via the PowerZone Control web app. Users connect through any browser to the amplifier’s built-in Wi-Fi or directly via the network port and can then configure the amplifiers from a phone, tablet, or laptop.

A main dashboard provides an overview of the system, with volume adjustment levels for each sound zone, along with access to more advanced configuration and professional settings. Tuning options include loudspeaker EQs where users can import an approved library or one they’ve created for a specific location.

Users can also update firmware, copy and back-up their amp profiles and/or use them on other projects. Another option is integration of the amps with smart room controllers via Blaze third-party drivers.
