Blaze Audio has announced the introduction of the Wall-S1, a new networked controller designed to work with the company’s connected amplifier/DSP platform to connect, configure and control installed sound systems.

The Wall-S1 enables end-user control of input source and volume in addition to providing features and settings that system installers can configure for specific rooms and locations. Multiple Wall-S1 controllers can be added to system, with a menu providing a customizable user interface.

Any Blaze PowerZone Connect amplifier can be controlled remotely with the Wall-S1. Supported with PIN code protection for system security and access, the Wall-S1 is well-suited to commercial locations such as bars, restaurants, cafés, retail stores, meeting rooms, auditoriums, schools, and even residential installations.

Four different display color schemes as are four screen brightness settings and four settings for the button light. The user interface and built-in display colour schemes can be modified to meet the needs of a specific location. The Wall-S1 ships in both EU and US versions, in both black and white.

The PowerZone Control app offers a main dashboard showing the overview of the system, with volume adjustment levels for each sound zone. Also available are more advanced configuration and professional install settings such as loudspeaker EQ, where users can import an approved library or one they’ve created for a specific location.
