Bittree Introduces New Patching Solutions

At ISE 2011, Bittree will showcase a range of new patchbays and patching solutions that allow integrators and audio and video specialists to achieve more flexibility in rapidly changing media environments.

The latest entry into Bittree’s popular video patching product series, the Micro-Video Patchbay provides the industry’s highest input/output density, with a 2×48 format in either a 1- or 1.5-RU size.

Now shipping, the high-bandwidth Micro-Video Patchbay is ideal for use in mobile production, outside broadcast (OB) vans, and any other video production application where space and weight are at a premium.

Bittree’s high-bandwidth video patchbays are suited for supporting 3Gbps and 3D productions, HD/SDI, SD/SDI, AES, and high-resolution computer graphics.

With a new rear lacing bar and industry-standard DIN 1.0/2.3 rear terminations, the Micro-Video Patchbay makes it easier than ever for users to install, organize, and remove wiring.

The product’s unique design additionally features the ability to recess the front panel to prevent cord protrusion, further conserving space and ensuring reliable connections.

At ISE 2011, Bittree will debut its Category 6 and 6A Rack Mount Patch Panels, which allow users to easily re-route gigabit Ethernet networks, as well as provide a demarcation and testing point for industrial and residential networks.

The panels were designed to support commercial office data infrastructure and digital signage distribution networks, and will be available in 12, 24, 48, or 96 Rack Mount configurations.

Users will be able to take advantage of the standards in high speed data networks, since 100baseT networks are no longer fast enough for today’s network.
