The latest update of the free Ashly Audio AquaControl software suite (v1.2.4 ) includes a virtualized version of the company’s WR-5 remote controller.
“The WR-5 remote is one of the most popular accessories added to systems featuring Ashly solutions,” says Noel Larson, EVP of Sales and Marketing at Ashly Audio. “It is constantly praised as an intuitive addition to an audio system that makes life easier for the end-user. The reason we virtualized the WR-5 within the AquaControl software stems back to our promise of being more innovative with our product line.”
The virtual WR-5 remote operates on commonly used touchscreen devices, allowing end-users to control their on-site audio systems with the tap of a button. The software also includes additional notifications for preset recall and import, improvements to tips and warnings, and the ability to save and load individual presets to and from files and templates.
In April, Ashly announced an overhaul of its ducker within the AquaControl software that brings improved flexibility and smoothness of operation, free from incorrect triggering and uncomfortable volume changes. This enabled greater customization of priority signal management to deliver a improved customer experience in schools, hotels, retail stores, and restaurants.
