Allen & Heath USA Names Tom Der As Director Of Market Development

Industry veteran directing product segment managers and providing guidance for company-wide product training programs, on-site training, and commissioning.

Allen & Heath USA has announced the appointment of industry veteran Tom Der as its new director of market development, where he is directing product segment managers and providing guidance for company-wide product training programs, on-site training, and commissioning.

Der has previously worked with mixing console manufacturers in serving as global sales director for the Neotek Corporation as well as the past 27 years as national sales and brand manager for Soundcraft USA. He’s a graduate of Memphis State University (Commercial Music with Emphasis in Recording Engineering) and in his formative years worked in Nashville as an assistant engineer on major label records that include REM’s ‘Document’ and Lyle Lovett’s first album. During this time he was also active in Nashville’s underground rock scene as a recording and front of house engineer.
