Loud Audio has announced the appointment of Algam Nordic as the distributor of the full line of Mackie products in Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Estonia.
Founded in 2017 by music and audio industry veterans Örjan Kylhammar and Trond Sjøli, Algam Nordic is a division of the Algam Group, one of the largest MI and pro audio distribution companies in Europe.
“We are delighted to welcome the Algam Nordic team on board,” says Mackie EMEA director of sales Tony Williams. “Their strong sales organization, combined with the excellent logisitics capabilities of the Algam Group, will empower continued Mackie brand growth in the Nordic region.”
Algam Nordic CEO Örjan Kylhammer adds, “Tony and I started distributing Mackie products back in 1991, as their first international partners, and it’s great to be back with Mackie again. I still remember back in 1991, selling the first Mackie CR-1604 mixer to a Swedish film composer. Now we have the strongest range of products ever from Mackie, and we’re looking forward to reaching the highest level ever!”
